Narrative - The 3 girls all having a crush on the most popular guy in school before realising at the end that friendship overthrows love interests
Performance - The band is separate from the characters in the narrative(although they are performed by the same people)
Idea two
Narrative - The 3 girls all fancy the same boy and he is flirting with all of them at the same time. Split screens used to show the over lap. The video would conclude with the girls seeing the boys true personality and choosing friendship.

Idea three
Narrative - The girls are the geeks of the school and all like a boy who is interested in them. they eventually become popular and end up performing at the prom
Performance - The band are the characters. You see their transformation from geek to chic.
Idea four
Narrative - The geeky girls all like boys who are interested. As the girls become more fashionable the boys start to like them but in the end the girls chose the nerdy boys who like them from the beginning
Performance - is separate from the characters in the narrative(although they are performed by the same people)

Strengths of this idea
- Easy to film
- Good costume
- Good hair and make up
- Close location
- All the nerd characters were reliable us it was us
Negatives of this idea
- Boring
- Started to resemble the original
- Transformation wouldn't be shocking
- Too many different story line factors to include to make it interesting
All our ideas overlapped in someway or another. The main narrative story line would follow 3 (or 1) nerdy girl who becomes pretty and transforms at the end to win the guy or realises that friendship is the most important thing.
