Music Video techniques

We researched how videos ended to see whether videos similar to ours ended by a classic fade or a twist in the music video. This post looks at some of the ideas that we came up with such a the idea of a 'big brother' style finale.
The video will end with the girls switching the channel to see them at the sleepover. We research into how this has been used into previous videos.
The shot will be high angle looking down at the girls who will be around and on the bed. We may possibly add the time and date to the corner to create suspense as to who is recording them. The shot had be graded to a sepia or black and white affect to make a more realistic 'cctv' effect.

In the Rizzle Kicks video- Lost Generation- they use this type of shot to show how they are always in the public eye and are constantly being watched. This shot is used at the beginning of the video and at the end.

This shot is from the music video Paper by The get out Clause. The whole video is shots from a  cctv perspective.

We really liked like this idea as it hasn't been done very recently which would make our video feel more fresh and original. In the coming weeks we are going to test this idea with a camera and editing software to see whether it can be used in our video and how effective it will look.
