Artist Identity

From previous research we knew that the artists identity was very important when creating a brand image. We looked at how labels wanted to be perceived by their target market and how we could use these initiatives when creating our brand and identities in order to have a greater appeal.

We wanted to create a new genre of music that meant we were able to allow able to two different audiences- those who liked rock and those who liked pop. We also wanted our band to be very relatable for girls aged 14-20. Our primary demographic are girls who are into fashion and films as well as different genres of music. Our USP of our band is that we are unique with our collaboration of rock and pop.
OUR BAND NAME:
ALL THAT GLITTERS

We chose this as our band name as it shows the girly features of our band. Its an old saying so will be instantly recognised but older generations as well as younger generations. Further more it allows of a distinctive image of glitter throughout our advertisement campaigns and our look as a band. This symbol can be used to represent both genre types.
