LOGO

FIRST LOGO EXPERIMENTATION:

  • Gold and pink glitter background to the lettering.
  • Fancy 'tattoo' style font.
  • Pink and gold sparkler sparks background on black.

  • Very similar to the above, but with the sparkler background smaller and more central, so the lightest part is behind the lettering

  • A very similar logo again, but with the background image much smaller again
  • Black outline on text

  • Tattoo style font, with the top words curling and arching over the bottom words
  • No glitter, just a gold and pink glow outline

  • White tattoo style lettering
  • Pink space nebula background

  • White lettering
  • On a bright pink glitter splat, on a black background.

Black lettering, with a gold and pink glitter overlay.
White (transparent) background
  • Very similar to a previous logo design, but with a slightly different word and glitter layout.

  • Simple gold glitter letters on a black background
SECOND EXPERIMENTATIONS:

  • Curly style lettering in gold glitter, with a black outline

  • Same as above, but with a pink glitter star shape background.
FINAL LOGO:

  • We decided that our previous attempts were missing something, and thought we should try a more clean cut and classy approach.
  • We all really liked the logo for The Saturdays, and found it looked really stylish and effective, and hence we also decided to use smooth capital letters.
  • We used the font ******, and joined the letters in each word together, to create a unified sophisticated logo.
  • For our album cover, we used white, as we had a black background, but on our website we put our logo in black, as we were showing it over the top of a brightly lit photograph.
  • Members of our target audience responded better to this newly designed logo (without knowing which was the final logo design), finding the clean and classy style much more suited to our band, as the brighter and curlier designs looked far younger and tackier, especially used in conjunction with the colour pink.
